This is not a rendering ...
We have found that widebody kits can be controversial for just about any car, but especially for muscle cars, especially when they are mopars. This even applies to the factory widebody versions of the Dodge Challenger and Charger. These are pretty mild compared to this bespoke 2015 Challenger R / T Scat Pack from San Antonio. His vehicle was proudly announced by Instagram user (and owner) crisy_tube_sock and we noticed when it received a nice reputation on Instagram from photographer merrick_media.

At first glance, this build looks like so many of the renderings we've covered, but an examination of the details shows this thing is real. The owner calls it his "pandemic project" and we see some people who have used the extra time out of lockdowns to improve their car.
This mopar started out as a pretty plain looking scat pack but has been turned into something else. First, those super wide fenders really stand out, especially with the exposed rivets that are highlighted by the matte black paint (yes, that's color, not wrapping). The widebody fenders are from Clinched.

Hidden under these massive fenders are some deep-dish HRE wheels
To compensate for the fenders, an oversized front air dam helps, which does not fall on the face due to the restrained color. There's a fairly large tailgate spoiler on the back. Perhaps the most polarizing design element is not the fenders, but the rear window slats, which look a little bit inspired by Lamborghini. We're sure everyone has an opinion on whether it's a good or a bad addition to the car.

Driving this low all the time can be problematic. Fortunately, this Scat Pack is equipped with an adjustable Airlift Performance air suspension.
We have to say the man had a vision of what he wanted his car to be and the build seems to have a consistent feel across the board. It may not be for everyone, but what is it?
