Watch: Brooks Koepka makes birdie at CJ Cup at Shadow Creek after search party finds ball in rough
There are many ways to do a birdie.
During the third round of the CJ Cup on Saturday at Shadow Creek, Las Vegas, Brooks Koepka had to hire the McIlroy, Na and Associates search company to find his ball in the 11th hole before making a bizarre birdie.
When Koepka returned to the PGA Tour competition for the first time in two months this week, he hit the green on the drivable par 4. Playing 293 yards on Saturday, his tee shot fell short and was buried in the thick rough that separated the tip of the bunker and the green.
The result was a team of about 10 people - including playmates Rory McIlroy, Kevin Na, and their caddies - all patting the floor on their hands and knees to find Koepka's ball.
