James Kennedy is engaged!
The 29-year-old Vanderpump Rules star asked the question on Friday evening in a suggestion on the subject of Coachella to friend Raquel Leviss. "James suggested Friday night at the legendary Empire Polo Fields of 'RACHELLA' ..." Leviss wrote on Instagram. "And I said YES! I'm over the moon with the Coachella moon."
"I'm lucky. Thank you God!" Kennedy wrote in the comments. "THE LOVE OF MY LIFE said yes," he said to a photo in which they kissed after the proposal.
Leviss showed her diamond engagement ring in a photo, accompanied by a "Rachella" bracelet. The couple celebrated with an intimate music festival for two and danced in an empty field in front of a DJ booth.
Her announcement was answered with congratulatory messages from her Vanderpump Rules colleagues and other friends. "Wooooohooooooo," Scheana Shay wrote in a comment. "Yes, amazing," wrote Lala Kent's fiancé Randall Emmett.

Kennedy recently spoke about how he prepared to make suggestions when he appeared on an episode of Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump. "You won't find anyone more on your side than this girl," Vanderpump told Kennedy.
"Well, can you keep a secret? ... I love Raquel so much, you know that," he said. "She really helped me, and you've seen everything she's holding onto. I really couldn't imagine being with anyone else on this planet. There's no 'but' - I think I'll ask her to marry me."
Vanderpump also gave Kennedy some words of encouragement. "This is going to be the best decision you have ever made," she told him before helping him out with a few suggestions.

Kennedy and Leviss have experienced some ups and downs in their relationship as the DJ struggled with addiction problems in the past, as seen on the Bravo series.
In July 2020, he thanked her as he celebrated a year of sobriety. "Thanks to my rock @raquelleviss for bringing me here. Without you, my dear, I would not have made it," he wrote on Instagram at the time. "And thank you all for your support over the past year."
