U.S. gymnasts blaze a trail to Tokyo meet

The gymnasts travel to Tokyo for the first Olympic meeting

(SOUNDBITE) 24 YEARS AMERICAN GYMNAST, YUL MOLDAUER, SAYING:
"This opportunity is huge for any athlete, not just gymnasts. We are at a strange time for sporting events and this is our chance to really go out there and get things back to normal."
Japan, China, Russia and America will compete against each other
at a one-day international event on November 8th
The first since the 2020 Games have been postponed
(SOUNDBITE) 16 YEARS AMERICAN GYMNAST, EMJAE FRAZIER, SAYING:
"The whole year is full of new things so I'm very excited. I think this is definitely an asset for me because I have the chance to compete. I think technical first since it all happened and see how everything runs." . "
