Trump calls border situation a 'Crisis Crisis,' says US is becoming 'a cesspool of humanity'
Former President Donald Trump released a written statement on Sunday saying the greatest number of illegal immigrants in history "poured in by the millions," unchecked and unchecked.
Trump went on to say that the situation was not a "border crisis" but a "crisis crisis" and claimed that the United States was becoming "a sewer for humanity."

"Tens of thousands of people come from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, now even more than from South America," said Trump's statement. "Nothing is being done and the corrupt mainstream media is paying almost no attention to what is perhaps the greatest crisis in our country's history."

A forecast released on Friday reported an estimated 1.85 million illegal border arrests for 2021, breaking the previous record of 1.643 million in 2000.
Over 10,000 migrants are currently waiting to cross the border, some of whom have reportedly been seen walking back and forth across a river into Mexico while collecting food and supplies from restaurants.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz visited the Del Rio International Bridge Thursday night and described the situation as "the most terrible thing I have ever seen". Cruz said in a statement on Twitter that the US would "pay the price for Joe Biden's weakness and incompetence for years to come."
The Biden government said Saturday that some of the Haitian migrants will be expelled on deportation flights and that the Department of Homeland Security will "implement a new, comprehensive strategy" to target the 12,000 people who crossed the border in the past week.

The Federal Aviation Agency initially grounded Fox News drones after they were spotted taking footage of the border situation, but gave permission for the drones later on Friday.
