Eriksen to West Ham
There is an interesting nugget in an Italian report about the challenges Inter Milan are facing to break free from Christian Eriksen.
The Danish star and longtime Spurs star has high salaries and the club has only received one set offer for its services: a loan to West Ham United.
The article notes that Inter have been considering swapping disgruntled playmakers with Atalanta's Papu Gomez the other way and that Spurs and Ajax might try to loan the midfielder. All of this makes some sense.
Eriksen drove 120 minutes in a Coppa Italia win this week, and those minutes are six times more than the 20 he managed between December 16 and Wednesday. He has not scored or assisted this season after having four and three last season.
Cervi to NYCFC
Ronny Deila's second season at NYCFC could include a $ 10 million winger.
Benfica left wing Franco Cervi is said to have joined New York City FC after rumors linked him to a few other Major League Soccer clubs last month.
The 26-year-old Cervi moved to Benfica from Rosario Central in his native Argentina in 2016. He played four international matches against Argentina in 2018 and scored 20 goals and 26 assists in 157 games for the Portugeuse powers.
City currently has Jesus Medina and Maxi Moralez as designated players.
