Timothée Chalamet Says Lily-Rose Depp Paparazzi Pics Made Him Feel 'Embarrassed'

Timothée Chalamet puts rumors to rest.
The "Dune" actor talked about paparazzi photos that made headlines around the world last year and showed him kissing then girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp. The two, who had just advertised their film "The King" at the Venice Film Festival, were pictured canoodling on a boat in Capri, Italy.
Various theories have been put forward about the photos (mostly that it was a PR setup), but Chalamet set the record straight in a GQ profile released Thursday.

"I went to bed that night and thought it was one of the best days of my life," said the star, "call me by your name." "I've been on this boat all day with someone I really loved and when I closed my eyes I said undeniably," That was great. "
“And then wake up with all these pictures, feel embarrassed and look like a real Nob? Is everything pale? "he went on." And then people are like: This is a PR stunt. "
“A PR stunt ?!” Chalomet exclaimed. "Do you think I want to look like this in front of all of you ?!"
Chalamet and Depp, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, were over a year old and had an extremely private relationship, but have since separated.
Chalamet previously spoke about his reluctance to date - specifically the word "date".
"Date is a scary word because that's when that context was established," the actor told W Magazine in 2018. "You can always see people meeting early."
Since breaking up with Depp, Chalamet has been seen kissing and cuddling with fellow actress Eiza González in June.
We may soon hear how Chalamets behind the scenes takes these photos.
