Three shot as family fight over gifts at Pa. baby shower erupts into gunfire

Three people were shot dead during a baby shower in Pennsylvania on Saturday after a dispute over gifts, police said.
Police in Lower Burrell, a small town 30 minutes northeast of Pittsburgh, responded to a call shortly after 6 p.m. reporting an active shootout at the Kinloch Fire Department. on Saturday.
Authorities found it was "not an active rifle situation, but rather an isolated family incident during a baby shower," according to a statement by the city police on Facebook.

The suspect was arrested after shooting a 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. All three were taken to a local hospital for gunshot wounds, and their condition is still unknown.
Police believe there was a family dispute over gifts at the baby shower that became physical before the suspect pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and started shooting.
The name of the suspect, who is due to be indicted shortly, is not yet known. He was in a city jail on Saturday night.
