The Morning After: NASA looks at LTE for lunar missions

This week had a bit of everything, but Apple's iPhone 12-series event was well-billed. They support a new wireless charging setup, but they don't look revolutionary on paper. Perhaps that feeling will change once we have some hands-on time as this lineup adds new options for smaller or larger devices.

NASA taps Nokia to bring LTE to the moon
No 5G?
This week, the space agency announced that it will provide Nokia with $ 14.1 million to build a 4G LTE cellular network on the lunar surface. The contract is part of the new $ 370 million Artemis funding that NASA announced this week and is part of planning to revisit the moon by 2024.

The $ 46,990 Long Range Model 3 can now travel 353 miles, an impressive 30 mile gain over the 2020 version. The Standard Range Plus model lasts 263 miles by 250 miles, while the Performance version goes 16 miles more at 315 miles (all ranges are estimated and have yet to be confirmed by the EPA).
On the cosmetic side, Model 3 gets slightly updated 18- and 19-inch wheel designs, as well as new 20-inch overturbine wheels in the sedan.
