In Thousand Oaks, a lavish mansion for a king has just been sold to a prince. Crown Prince Andrew Lee and Princess Nana Lee of the Imperial Family of Korea have just paid $ 12.6 million for a 20-acre property in the Hidden Valley community, The Times has confirmed.
The mammoth sale makes the Crown the most expensive home sale in Thousand Oaks this year, according to the Multiple Listing Service, which defeated a Tuscan mansion that traded hands for $ 10 million in February.
Lee, an entrepreneur who founded Private Internet Access VPN service, is relatively new to the concept of royalty. A few years ago, the Indiana native found out that he was related to Yi Seok, a royal descendant of the Joseon Dynasty who named the Lee Crown Prince in 2018. The "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" -style saga was detailed by the South China Morning Post.
His new location feels like a palace centered on a French-inspired mansion of 14,000 square feet. Inside there are seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and palatial living spaces furnished with custom-made furniture, chandeliers, and curtains. Further highlights are a double island kitchen, a wine tasting room, a cinema and a fitness studio.
Limestone walkways lined with magnolia trees criss-cross the green, open-air grounds with landscaped lawns, hand-carved fountains, a tennis court, infinity pool, and spa. Extending from the rear of the house are several terraces overlooking a dining terrace and grounds dotted with vintage lampposts. The view extends from the surrounding hills to the lights of the city.
Tiffany Hu of Hilton & Hyland kept the listing. Danny Ross and Karly Williams of Pinnacle Estate Properties represented Lee.
The house was listed for $ 14 million, real estate reports show.
