Report: Pacers send Victor Oladipo to Rockets as part of James Harden overhaul

Another big name is in the landscape-damaging trade with James Harden. With Harden on the way to the Brooklyn Nets, the Houston Rockets acquire Victor Oladipo from the Indiana Pacers, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
According to Caris LeVert and in return, the Pacers receive a draft pick for the second round. The Rockets acquired LeVert from the Nets along with Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, four first-round picks and four first-round picks in a three-team deal that included the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland acquired Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince commercially.
How will Oladipo, LeVert fit into new roles?
Oladipo will join John Wall as the center of a revamped Rockets roster that separated from Harden and Russell Westbrook since last season. After leaving the Brooklyn bank, LeVert is likely to star alongside Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis in Indiana.

Oladipo, 28, recently returned from a torn quad tendon that has cost him most of the past two seasons. The two-time all-star, the 6-foot-4 Guard, made his return to the NBA bubble last summer and has averaged 20 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists in nine of the Pacers' eleven games this season played while he shot 42.1 percent off the field.
LeVert, 26, has had limited stint in Brooklyn and was reinforced when asked to play a prominent role when Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were unavailable. In 27.4 minutes per game this season, the 6-6 wing averaged 18.5 points, six assists and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 43.5 percent off the field. He broke out in Brooklyn last season as a valued RPG player and promises to play a bigger role with the Pacers.
