Pregnant Ashley Tisdale reveals sex of baby with a cake: 'JUST as rewarding as fireworks but SAFER'
Ashley Tisdale and husband Christopher French are expecting a baby girl.
The former high school musical star shared multiple snaps of the couple being cut into a cake on Friday. While fans couldn't see what the inside looked like in the photo, later footage showed a signature pink cake, and Tisdale used the "SheSoFrench" hashtag.
In the caption, Tisdale stated that the day was her favorite in an incredibly tough year. "I was crying, I was so happy," she wrote.

It was also indirectly referring to an incident last month where a California couple who set off fireworks at their own "gender reveal party" (technically a sex reveal party) started a fire that set off more than 22,000 acres by Tuesday had burned and 95 years old, percent was included. A firefighter died on September 17th while trying to put it out.
“Ps for all people beyond gender reveal parties. A cake with the color inside is just as rewarding as fireworks, but safer! "
She shared a photo from the October 2nd celebration, but there was no indication of the outcome. "I was wondering if we should share the gender with all of you," she wrote, asking people to comment if they wanted to know.
Tisdale described how she felt at the beginning of her pregnancy last month. "It wasn't an easy first trimester, but everyone is different and I know there are people who have had a lot worse," she wrote in a blog post. "I'm definitely falling somewhere in the middle where not only did I feel sick, but vomited a few times and felt like I had stomach flu for three months (Lol!)."
Tisdale said she had been bombed by people asking when she and French, who were married in 2014, would have a child. But she was glad they waited.
"I wasn't ready for this step and I wanted to be selfish and have Chris all to myself for a while," Tisdale wrote. "To be honest, I wouldn't have had it any other way."
