People Think Mnuchin Accidentally Said Trump Admin’s Most Honest Thing About COVID-19
People think Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's slip of the tongue on Friday could be the most honest thing anyone in President Donald Trump's administration has ever said.
During a phone interview for CNBC's Squawk Box, Mnuchin said, "We are working on mass distribution of the virus." Presumably he was saying that the Trump White House was working on the mass distribution of a vaccine to fight the spread of COVID-19.

But people on Twitter thought it was a Freudian slip-up when they saw how Trump's mistreatment of the pandemic allowed coronavirus to devastate the country, killing more than 250,000 Americans to date.
Trump has deliberately misled citizens for months by downplaying the threat of contagion in public and privately acknowledging its dangers.
The outgoing president also ignored his own government's advice on how to reduce the spread, held overcrowded campaign events for maskless supporters, and was hospitalized for three days after signing a contract himself.
