Michael Moore On Exiting Donald Trump: “We Are Not Done With Him … He Must Pay For His Actions”

The last time President Donald Trump flew out of the White House this morning, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore gave him a farewell kick on Twitter. "He has just left the White House for good," wrote the Oscar winner. “We, the people, drove him out. I'll go ahead and cancel the U-Haul. He's now flying over the wreck he created and he knows we're not done with him, ”said Michael Moore. "Try. Conviction. Imprisonment. He has to pay for his actions - one of the first for him."
The U.S. Senate is expected to soon hold a speedy impeachment trial against Trump despite his resignation. The end result could mean that the former POTUS can no longer run for the highest office in the country. Senate leaders Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell met on Tuesday to establish ground rules for a 50:50 chamber division.

Moore can breathe a sigh of relief that one of his predictions was not 100% realized. Now in a democracy! Interview in December, the Fahrenheit 11/9 filmmaker said, based on his temperature of the transfer states, "If the vote was today, I believe he would win the electoral states he would need because I'm going to live out there. his level of support has not decreased by an inch. In fact, I'd say it's even more rabid than before because they're scared now. They are afraid he might lose because they watched his behavior. They are insatiable in their appetite for Donald Trump. That's the bad news. "
President Donald Trump to America: "Have a good life, see you soon"
Moore's 2018 documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 (a title change on his Palme d'Or-winning Fahrenheit 9/11) drew parallels between the rise of Adolf Hitler and Trump, whom he viewed as a major threat to democracy and as " the last president. "
Moore, like Trump, was on the other side of social media censorship: Last summer, his executive environmental document Planet of the Humans was removed from YouTube after a copyright claim was brought against the film over four seconds of footage it contained.
Jeff Gibbs, director of Planet of the Humans, made a statement back in May: “This attempt to shut down our film and prevent the public from seeing it is an obvious act of censorship by political critics of Planet of the Humans . It is an abuse of copyright law to shut down a film that opened a serious conversation about how sections of the environmental movement got to bed with Wall Street and so-called "green capitalists".
