Max Ehrich Shows Off New Pic Of American Idol 's Sonika Vaid Following Demi Lovato Split

Max Ehrich is not "afraid" to put his new romance on Instagram.
Less than a month after his very public breakup with fiancée Demi Lovato, the actor posted a photo of him. FaceTiming Sonika Vaid, an American Idol alum who Max was discovered with in October.
Although Max didn't label the picture, the commentators were quick to call the American princess star.
One wrote, “Weren't you just engaged lol wtf?” While another added, “So you came out of an engagement and kept writing about Demi and then dating someone else? It's okay to be single and heal. "
In an exclusive interview with E !, Sonika said that she and Max recently met at a "dinner with mutual friends".
"It was a fun night and we all had to go to the studio together," said the singer, who finished fifth in season 15 of American Idol, in October. "We've just hung out and had fun since then."

Max also spends time recording music after the split.

He recently released the song "Afraid", the first track of a major music project.
About the track, Max said to Billboard, "I recorded this song when I fell in love. It speaks of all the emotions I went through at that time."
Max has come under fire from Demi's fans for reporting on their breakup on social media. Paparazzi also took pictures of him crying on the beach, where he made a proposal to Demi in July.
"Demi doesn't want any contact with Max at this point," a source told E! News. "She is utterly embarrassed how he behaves and gets their relationship going through social media. She doesn't want anything to do with him."
Now it seems like Max is really going on.
