Joseph Baena Recreates Arnold’s Iconic Bodybuilder Poses on Instagram
From men's health
Bodybuilder Joseph Baena, 23, has been training harder than ever lately. As always, this means sharing clips from his strength training and recovery sessions with his followers on Instagram. In his last post, he shows off his hard-earned profits - while also giving his famous father a subtle reputation.
"Have fun going through some movements!" He wrote in the caption for the video showing him riding through a series of flexes that are heavily reminiscent of some of the most iconic poses his father Arnold Schwarzenegger performed during his time as one of the most successful bodybuilders in the world. Schwarzenegger made some of these poses famous on the world stage as the seven-year consecutive President of the Mr. Olympia competition.

It's far from the first time Baena has recreated one of Schwarzenegger's poses. Like the Austrian oak, he regularly moves on social media. Coupled with his really striking resemblance to the man, the overall effect is pretty scary.
While Baena is undoubtedly thrilled to be training at Gold's Gym again after training at home for several months in quarantine, he's also an advocate of adhering to public health guidelines during the pandemic. Earlier this month, he posted a photo of himself wearing a mask and wiping down fitness equipment after using it. "Pro tip: flex your triceps when wiping equipment so you don't lose your pump," he said.
