'Jeopardy!' releases 1st teaser with Ken Jennings as host

Monday marks the beginning of a new "danger!" Epoch. Following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek, the last episode of which aired on Jan. 8, the show will feature a number of innkeepers until a permanent replacement is named.
The first intermediate host is "Jeopardy!" 74 times. Master Ken Jennings. The show gave a taste of what to expect for Jennings at the top, including an emotional tribute to Trebek.

"Sharing the stage with Alex Trebek was one of the greatest honors of my life," said the 46-year-old emotionally during the promo. "Like all 'danger!' Fans, I miss Alex ... very much. "
Jennings previously spoke about one of the last conversations with Trebek, which occurred shortly before the beloved game show host's death.
"I spoke to him on the phone the weekend he passed and he was - he was frail, but he was still very Alex," said Jennings, who won the record for the longest "danger!" Strip said on "Good Morning America."
"I remember he was only very confident of being an innkeeper if he ever needed it," he continued, adding that Trebek was reminding him that "the host wasn't the star of 'Jeopardy!' Is. "

According to a statement from the show, Trebek's last day of shooting was October 29 - just 10 days before he died of pancreatic cancer on November 8 at the age of 80.
The first episode of Jennings' "Jeopardy!" Premieres at 7 p.m. ET Monday on ABC.
