Harry Styles' mom opens up about his love of 'fancy dress'
Harry Styles' Vogue cover, wearing a Gucci dress, has generated some criticism, but Styles has never followed the rules of fashion.

Anne Twist, the mother of Styles, who appeared on the British talk show "Lorraine", was asked about the Vogue spread, which also features the singer's sister, Gemma.

"I think maybe I had something to do with it because I was always a big fan of making costumes with them when they were younger, which Gemma hated, but Harry always hugged," she said. "Who doesn't love to dress up?"

"As a kid, I definitely liked costumes," he said.
Once, he said, he was allowed to disguise himself as a mouse in a school play, and the experience left a lasting impression.
"I was very young and wore tights for it," he recalled. "I remember it was crazy for me to wear pantyhose. And maybe that's where it all started!"
