Eagles HC Doug Pederson could have a calming influence on QB Carson Wentz with Press Taylor out
When Carson Wentz hits the field for in-game action on most NFL Sundays, passing game coordinator Press Taylor is usually the guy the Eagles quarterback talks to most of the afternoon.
Taylor is the man who usually spends most of the time with Philadelphia's star quarterback.
On Sunday when Taylor is home due to COVID-19 logs, head coach Doug Pederson will be the main voice in Carson Wentz's ear and it could pay off.
Pederson is already the Eagles' main caller, and if Taylor goes out, the head coach will be tasked with reassuring his star signal caller and providing him with solid coaching.
With Wentz competitive in the toughest season of his five-year career, Sunday could be an excellent opportunity for Pederson to lead his quarterback on a formidable foray against a tough AFC North opponent.
