People have spoken, but the 2016 winner refuses to admit this year's winner. No, this article is about PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive. Why do you ask?
Dwayne Johnson teased 2020 sexiest man alive Michael B. Jordan in an Instagram post on Friday, joking that he was not "admitting" the title Johnson received in 2016. (He also made PEOPLE's longer list of the sexiest men of 2020, by the way.)
"Congratulations to my brother @michaelbjordan on the new sexy crown," the Jumanji star wrote in the post. "I'm not admitting anything."
Jordan, for his part, was very gracious in receiving the honor. "It's a cool feeling," the actor told PEOPLE. "You know, everyone used to joke like, 'Mike, this is the only thing you probably won't get.' But it's a good club to be a part of. "
In case you were wondering, no, Johnson and Jordan have never appeared together in a movie or TV show. However, both are ready to enter the DC Universe in the near future. Johnson plays a Static Shock movie in the long-evolving Black Adam and Jordan. With 2018 Sexiest Man Alive Idris Elba on James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, this could be a cinematic universe to leave behind.
