‘Depraved’: Rep. Jason Crow condemns Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s rhetoric ahead of impeachment vote
Rep. Jason Crow on Wednesday described Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her ideological colleagues as "depraved" and "dangerous" after Greene penned a fire tweet ahead of President Donald Trump's impeachment.
"There are unfortunately a handful of members of Congress - and Ms. Taylor Greene is just one of them - who are morally bankrupt," Crow (D-Colo.) Told CNN in an interview. "They are depraved and frankly dangerous people."
Greene's office did not immediately respond to a request for a response to Crow's remarks, which responded to a question about the Greene (R-Ga.) Twitter post posted Tuesday evening.

“President Trump will stay in office. This Hail Mary attempt to remove him from the White House is an attack on every American who voted for him, "wrote Taylor Greene in her post, which has since been featured on Twitter. "Democrats must be held accountable for the political violence inspired by their rhetoric."
Her tweet comes a week after pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol after Congress confirmed President-elect Joe Biden's victory. At least five people died, including a US Capitol police officer. At a rally that day, the President urged his supporters to march to the Capitol and "show strength".
After Congress resumed its certification process after the attack, Greene was one of the 147 Congressional Republicans who still objected to the election results. She was also criticized last week after video footage showed she, along with a handful of other House Republicans, refused to wear a mask while hiding amid the violence from other lawmakers. At least three House Democrats have since tested positive for Covid-19.
Greene, a new congresswoman elected last November, has previously endorsed elements of the dangerous QAnon conspiracy theory and made anti-Islamic comments. She has received praise from Trump for calling her a "future Republican star."
