In a post on Instagram, the mother of two wrote: “It's really weird when you lose a baby and stop your body in time.
"Normally you'd do your 'Yumyums, I'm praaaagnant!' Weight, then take on the weight of your little tremor.
“Then ideally you would have your baby. And you would feed it from your breasts and your body would know that it has to assert itself and do what it does to get you back into fighting shape. "
Teigen added, “But man. If you lose a baby halfway through, your body just takes a break. It has nothing to do with Nobody to feed.
“And you're just… stuck. With sagging breasts that were preparing to be milk cartons, a belly that was ready for baking. "
She said, "I would be lying if I said this didn't suck much. Not only are you extremely, devilishly sad about what could have been, but you have this daily reminder every time you go into the goddamned Look in the mirror. "
Teigen's burning honest contribution has received more than 405,000 likes and over 8,000 comments - including many messages of praise and support.
Paris Hilton wrote, "You are beautiful inside and out."
Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn shared, "Stay strong, angel."
One fan said to her, “I never comment, but I wanted to thank you for sharing and showing us that celebrities are normal. Young people don't get that view enough of all I have. "
Teigen - who shares with her husband, singer John Legend, a young son and daughter - was 20 weeks pregnant when she was told her baby would not make it.
In a post on Instagram last October, the model and the author revealed her "deep pain" because her little boy could not survive blood transfusions despite "bags and bags".
Accompanied by a raw black and white picture of her crying as she sat on a hospital bed, she added, “We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all of the amazing things that we could have experience.
"But not every day can be full of sunshine. On this darkest day of all we will mourn, we will cry our eyes."
