Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Paul Team Up With Finish Line to Highlight Voting

Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul have partnered with Finish Line to highlight the importance and impact of your vote and vote in these elections.
"As part of our commitment and responsibility as allies, we intend to highlight and empower voices in our community," Finish Line wrote in the headline. "Every week our Senior Cultural Partnerships Strategist @omarr introduces you to a new guest who deals with important issues that affect the community. For Volume 18, the future @NBA Hall of Famers @carmeloanthony, @dwyanewade & @ cp3 are added. They will talk about the power of voting, how their @socialchangefnd empowers people to vote, their partnership with @hbcuheroes, and the work they are doing to strengthen color communities. "
"It's more serious now than ever," added Melo during the 12-minute conversation on Instagram. The trio dealt with topics such as the effects of voting, how voting can bring about change and the importance of imparting more voting competence to the municipalities.
This is just the latest initiative from athletes to help get people to vote. LeBron James also launched the More Than a Vote campaign, which promotes electoral literacy in low-income communities and has helped convert sports arenas into makeshift polling stations this election season.
