The 2021 Porsche Boxster 25 commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Porsche mid-engine sports car and is powered by a 394 hp Flat-Six with a naturally aspirated engine.
It is limited to 1250 pieces and has stylistic elements inspired by the Boxster concept that was shown at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show.
The Boxster 25 is available to order starting now for $ 99,950 and will arrive at dealerships this spring.
Porsche is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Boxster mid-engined sports car with a special edition based on the Boxster GTS 4.0 2021 718, which means that a high-revving 4.0-liter six-cylinder with a naturally aspirated engine is on tap. The Boxster 25 is limited to 1250 cars and has stylistic elements that are reminiscent of the Boxster concept car (see image below) that was presented at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show.
Like the original concept that shared its face with the 996 generation 911, the Boxster 25 features copper trims on the front and side air intakes, badges, and wheels. The fuel tank cap is decorated with "Porsche" lettering and, like the standard sports exhaust system, has an aluminum look. The car is available in the colors GT Silver, Jet Black and Carrera White. When paired with the 20-inch five-spoke copper wheels, they all look stunning. The sports seats are upholstered in burgundy leather and are complemented by a red fabric convertible top and an interior made of brushed aluminum.
The naturally aspirated, 4.0-liter six-cylinder develops 394 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque, which is delivered to the rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission (#SaveTheManuals), though a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is available. In our tests, a manually equipped six-speed Boxster GTS 4.0 started in 3.8 seconds to 60 mph and raced through the quarter mile in 12.0 seconds at 118 mph. Porsche claims a top speed of 182 mph. The original 986-generation Boxster was powered by a 2.7-liter six-cylinder with 217 hp.

The limited edition Boxster 25 comes with the Sport Chrono Package, which includes the PDK dual clutch transmission, the start control and a driving mode selector mounted on the steering wheel. The active chassis from Porsche, with which the car can be lowered by 0.4 inches, is just as standard as a limited-slip differential.
The 2021 Boxster 25 is available to order now starting at $ 99,950 - $ 9,700 more than the starting price of a 2021 718 Boxster GTS 4.0. They will arrive at the dealers in spring.
